2014 Lottie Moon
Christmas Offering
for
International Missions
HBC Goal: $10,000
Total: $1,195.84
End of Year Charitable Giving Tax time will be here before you know it and now is the time to
make those “year end” charitable gifts for 2014.
As you are asked by many worthy organizations to give at this time of year,
would you pray about giving a special “year end” gift to Hebron?
Gifts can also be given in honor of or in memory of the special people in our lives.
Your gifts could be designated for our new facility or the church’s greatest needs.
Thanks in advance for your faithfulness and generosity.
Just a reminder: If you want your contributions total to show the full year on your annual statement,
you must have your December donation turned into the church by
noon on December 30, 2014.
It is our prayer that God will richly bless you in 2015
as you continue to faithfully serve Him.
Life Groups (Spring, 2015)
Life Groups are informal Bible and Topical
Life Application studies that meet in homes,
at the church, or wherever two or more
people gather. Typically, Life Groups meet
on the 1st and 3rd Sundays from 5:00-7:00
p.m. However, you are not limited to that
time frame. Would you be interested in
hosting a Spring Life Group? No experience
is necessary, you only need an open home
and heart to connect with others. See one of
HBC’s staff members for more information.
Lottie Moon Post Office Now Open
Let us help you make your Christmas Card giving easier. In the glassed foyer you will find the Lottie Moon Post Office. All you need to do is label your Christmas cards with each person's name and place the card in the alphabetically marked slot. (Beginning letter of last name) Then put the money you would have spent on postage into our Lottie Moon Post Office Bank. All proceeds will go toward our Lottie Moon Offering.
VERY IMPORTANT Don't forget to check the box regularly for mail that has been sent to you.
Read the Bible This Year
January is a great time to begin that commitment to read the Bible.
There are many excellent plans and helps to get you started and to encourage you along the way. Pick up a copy of the helpful handout, “Read the Bible This Year” in either of the church’s foyers.

Your Pastors Need You for SPIRITUAL POWER by praying for them.
When you pray for your pastors you pray for your church, your community and family. *FOR SPIRITUAL UNITING AND UNDERGIRDING for every great
leader there must be some great followers. *For HIS PULPIT POWER by
hearing him. Full pews challenge a man to prepare and deliver great sermons.
Empty pews discourage him. *BUT THE GREATEST THING we can do for our preacher is to follow the Christ
he preaches and embody His spirit. A great pastor will build his church, and
a great church will build her pastor. Church is as responsible for
what she does to her pastor as is the pastor for what he does to the church. by Rev. Joel Lucas, April 23, 1970
Thank You Many thanks to our church family at Hebron. Thank you so much for the calls, cards, visits, food and love shown to us in the loss of Rowland, our son, Dad, Granddad and brother. Thanks to Bro. Joe, Destry and Charles Ray Smith for such a beautiful service. We love each and every one of you. George and Beth Provost and Family
