Kevin Fairley will be exhibiting a collection of “Fine Art Photography”. This diverse collection consists of images captured in Bali, Java and Sumatra on his many excursions into the wilderness and communities of Indonesia. Kevin searches to encapsulate the profundity of nature and the hearts of people of Indonesia and as an award winning photographer quests for the unusual in his work. Kevin combines this with his artistic skills to portray his creations in his own individualistic style. His photographs are both honest and accessible in beautifully depicting the many aspects of Indonesian and Balinese culture. Kevin has a long standing relationship with Bali. For nearly 20 years Kevin divides his time between Melbourne, Australia and Ubud, Bali where he spends several months each year where he unearths a complex diversity that inspires and piques his creative endeavours. A selection of photographs from the exhibition will be available for sale and a piece of Kevin’s work will be up for silent auction with the proceeds supporting the Kupu- Kupu Foundation for the physically challenged in Bali. The Exhibition opens on Saturday 31st May 2014 at 7pm – 9.30pm
The Exhibition will run until 30th June 2014 and open daily from 9am – 5pm
Directions: BCAC Gallery, Jl Raya Andong, Ubud, Bali • From Jl. Raya (the main road through Ubud), head East
towards the big white statue T-Junction and turn left onto Jl. Raya Andong.
• Continue straight for 500m and you will pass the Pertamina (Petrol) station on LH side.
• Further up you will see the sign for BCAC on the right hand side. (next door to Kanza Warung and behind the Exporter Gangga Sukta, No. 18, Jl Raya Andong)
