Design Your Fraud Prevention Program

The Fraud Awareness Week organised by Association of Certified Fraud Examiners took place between 17-23 November 2019. Fraud Week is the perfect time to go a step further to start discussions amongst employees, executives and stakeholders in the community about how important fraud prevention is to society as a whole. Cerebra, as the official supporting organization, took the initiative during the week to increase fraud awareness by organizing activities and posting on social media using informative images with the tag #fraudweek to demonstrate its zero tolerance

to fraud policy.

Fraud prevention is critical for companies. Fraud prevention initiatives aim to minimize the likelihood of fraud occurring while maximizing the possibility of detecting any fraudulent activity. If your company’s defense mechanism is well established, then perpetrators most often become uncomfortable and get the feeling of being caught so that they are persuaded not to commit the fraud. From this perspective, it is clear that the existence of a thorough control system is a must to fraud prevention. If you want to design your fraud prevention program,

you may contact Cerebra at [email protected].
