Idea of The Atom Lavoisier did not have his own model of the atom His studies and finding helped other chemists such as Joseph Proust and John Dalton

In 1774 he repeated Robert Boyles tin calx experiment He furthered Aristotles theory of the four elements by saying that their werent just four elements that their were hundreds of different elements
