Liturgy: The Ascension Of The Lord Readings: Acts of the Apostles 1:1-11 Ephesians 1:17-23 Gospel: Matthew 28:16-20 Message: Today we recall Christ’s ascension to His Father in heaven. Before He left, He promised His disciples that He would be with them always. Indeed, the Lord is with us when we gather in His name, as we listen to the word of God, and as the bread and wine are consecrated. Let us celebrate the assurance that Christ is with us always, now and until the end of time.
