★INSERT SELECTION

1. Insert shape selection: 60° 55° 35°

2. Cutter head angle selection: F91° U93° Q107°

3. Insert angle selection: P11° C7° B5° N0°

4. R angle of the insert: 0.4>0.2>0.8 ( Not recommend to use large R )

◆With R 0.4, the resistance is less. The probability of causing vibration is relatively small.

◆Although R 0.2 has less resistance, it is easy to cause an insert to vibrate due to sharpness.

◆R 0.8 has more resistance, it is easy to cause vibration.

◆ If used for roughing, the feed speed need faster. F: preferably between 0.2 and 0.3.

★PROCESSING CONDITION

1. Cutting line speed (Vc:m/min): As close as possible to the insert processing conditions.

◆Low speed will wear the insert. (In-plant test Vc120~300 works better)

2. Feed speed(F:mm/rev):

◆The rough turning feed is between 0.2 and 0.3.

◆If finish turning feed is less than 0.1, the speed must be increased to obtain a better

surface roughness.

★CLAMP

◆It is best to use Anti-Vibration Sleeve.

◆Because the sleeve is C-type locking, the non-screw is tight and stable. When the shank is

shortened, it will not affect its function due to the

Advantages of Anti-vibration Wheel Cutter

1. We use a unique eccentric design, on the one hand, itcan increase the rigidity of the cutter ; on the otherhand, it prevents the cutter from interfering with theworkpiece.

2. Putting damper inside the cutter can effectivelysuppress vibration during turning and increase thelinear velocity of processing, can up to 4000m/min,get a good surface quality.
