Introduction

chemotherapics are severely toxic

to health

A Large percentage of

patients cannot tolerate that much

toxicity

Sometime it could also be a Life threatening

Liver is more susceptible to

chemotherapeutic drugs.

Whether Non-toxic drugs can prevent chemotherapeutic drug induced liver

toxicity

The aglycon also know as anthocyanidin is a heterocyclic derivative derived from a-cromen or a-benzopyran.

The aglycones are found in very small amounts in fresh plants, as they are quite unstable.

The most common aglycones of anthocyanins are:- pelargonidin, delphinidin, cyanidin, peonidin, petunidin and malvidin.

Take the sample mashed up with ALP buffer Centrifuge it.

Take the Supernatant and divide it with different composition in test tube containing ALP buffer and PNPP substrate.

Kept it at 37⁰C for 1 hr and stop the reaction after the appearance of yellow colour with the help of NaOH

Observe the sample at 405 nm

Role

Prepare cocktail solution containing Distilled

water, NBT, NaN3, PBS and add them in sample

Sample heated in dark at 85⁰C for 15 mins.

Take the reading at 580 nm
