mericas Cup yacht. The work included a laminateoptimization study for the hull that consideredultiple load cases. Both macro- and constituent-leveroperties of the laminate materials were taken into

structured composite, using shell elements and theNSYS Mechanical solver. The team evaluated ANSYS
