Transcript of Anritsu Automation Platform (AAP) AAP PC Connects to the system via IP connection (system switch)...
Anritsu Automation Platform (AAP)
• AAP PC Connects to the system via IP connection (system switch)
• AAP was developed to add features that were requested by Key Customers for CAT testing
• To create a common easy to operate interface for the ME7834
• To add reporting features not currently available
AAP Functional Steps• AAP Execution
– Select UE copies proxy and IOT_Config.prm to RTD PC and creates global parameters
– Run Test Case creates results folder on AAP PC and bat file, copies bat file to RTD PC and runs it
• BAT File creates results folder on RTD PC, starts CLI, and copies ATMMI proxy to results folder
• Run Test Case copies CLI results in results folder on AAP PC when finished (AAP execution goes onto next test)
• AAP Results waits for new CLI results files on AAP PC, then collects all results on RTD PC into RTD PC results folder
• AAP Results then copies all these results from RTD PC to AAP PC, notes that the results have been process on the RTD PC, and displays the new results on the AAP Results GUI
• AAP Results checks if any new tests have completed
System Components
• AAP Installer– AAP Source Code– AAP Results exe– AAP Execution exe
• AAP TCP Server Installer– AAP TCP Server exe
• LabVIEW RunTime Engine Installer• TestStand Installer

System Overview - Software• AAP controls everything that is needed to
– run the test environment– build sequences of test cases, – run them and control the hardware– modify proxy file com ports– modify IOT parameter file– select PCOM programming– LabVIEW and Anritsu’s implementation of National Instruments
Test Stand is used for test scheduling and execution. (AAP Execution)
– collects and manages results files (AAP Results)– any dialog boxes are sent to AAP PC ??– creates reports

System Overview - Results• Results Processor
– LabView based application that can be run in parallel with AAP (TestStand)
– Includes parsing routines to process results data from RTD Results folders on RTD PC.
• Result directory and files are copied from RTD PC to AAP PC• Results data is imported into a LabView cluster (data structure) such that they
can be filtered on and manipulated as required by reports• Results can be filtered by test name, test type, UE, UE build, date, Pass/Fail,
test package release• Includes measurement data and ATMMI proxy logs
– Results can be opened & viewed in the middle of a AAP sequence. (there is no need to wait until test sequence is completed)
– GUI dynamically updates the results as the tests are completed. – User can view detailed results by just double clicking on a test in the
summary view.– Detailed results can be export to csv, xml, or html by button click.. These
results could be stored on a customer local network drive if required.
AAP Detailed Operation • AAP PC is on same IP subnet as RTD PC
– 1.1.1.100 (Default)– 255.0.0.0 (Subnet)
• AAP TCP IP Server is Running on RTD PC• Import the palette
– C:\Anritsu\AAP\Configuration Files• Ping connectivity established between components• UE has Anritsu USIM• Proxy files exist on AAP PC
– C:\Anritsu\AAP\UE
AAP Detailed Operation
• Test operation is very simple and all done from two main windows– AAP Execution– AAP Results
