•  From  the  Home  page  you  can  access:    –  Journals  –  Favorite  ar;cles  –  The  latest  ar;cles  published  by  

Annual  Reviews  –  Saved  documents  

•  Tapping  the  Journal  buIon  takes  you  to  a  screen  for  selec;ng  your  journals  of  interest

choose  your  journals  of  interest  

•  Tapping  next  to  each  journal  ;tle  will  select  it  with  a  check  mark  

•  Click  done,  and  next  ;me  you  go  to  the  Journals  page,  you  will  only  see  your  selected  journals  in  the  list

•  Tapping  a  specific  journal  ;tle  (Astronomy  &  Astrophysics)  will  take  you  to  a  Volume  Selec;on  page  

 •  Quick  Links  allow  you  to  see  

recent  volumes  and  forthcoming  review  ar;cles  (if  available)  

•  Tapping  on  a  volume  takes  you  to  the  Table  of  Contents  (TOC)  page

Ar;cle  Pages  –  Abstracts  and  Full  Text  •  From  the  ar;cle  page  you  can  view  abstracts  

and  full-­‐text  ar;cles  

•  Access  to  full  text  ar.cles  requires  an  ins.tu.onal  or  personal  subscrip.on  

•  To  access  full  text  ar;cles  from  journals  that  have  been  licensed  by  your  ins;tu;on,  you  must  be  connected  to  an  authen;cated  ins;tu;onal  wi-­‐fi  network.      

•  Once  connected,  your  mobile  device  will  be  automa.cally  paired  with  your  ins;tu;on’s  access  rights,  enabling  you  to  access  full-­‐text  content  while  offsite.

Ar;cle  Pages  –  Selec;ng  Different  Views  •  The  Select  View  op;on  appears  at  the  

boIom  of  all  ar;cle  pages    •  This  op;on  allows  you  to  see  the  following  

views  of  an  ar;cle  for  quick  naviga;on:  –  Sec.ons    –  Figures    –  References      –  Also  Read  –  shows  similar  ar;cles  that  

have  also  been  read  by  users  of  this  ar;cle  

–  Cited  By  –  shows  cita;ons  from  other  Annual  Reviews  ar;cles  to  this  ar;cle

Saving  Favorites  •  The  star  icon  at  the  boIom  of  all  ar;cle  

pages  allows  you  to:  

–  Mark  ar.cles  as  favorites    (you  must  be  logged  in  to  take  

advantage  of  this  feature)  

–  Save  on  your  device  for  offline  reading  –  your  subway  ride  or  flight  to  a  conference  will  be  even  more  produc;ve  with  this  new  func;onality

Sharing  Via  Social  Networks  •  The  social  icon  at  the  boIom  of  all  

ar;cle  pages  allows  you  to  share  ar.cle  abstracts  and  links  via  Facebook,  TwiHer,  and  LinkedIn.  

•  To  take  advantage  of  this  feature,  you  have  to  link  your  social  networking  accounts  to  the  Annual  Reviews  mobile  site.    Go  to  SeLngs  à  Social.  

•  This  new  feature  will  make  it  even  easier  for  you  to  keep  your  colleagues  informed  of  your  findings  and  favorite  ar;cles

Accessing  Non-­‐Journal  Content    Related  Pages  on  Mobile  

•  Clicking  the  Visit  Full  Site  buHon  at  the  boIom  of  the  screen  will  redirect  you  to  a  full  web  version  of  the  Annual  Reviews  website  on  your  mobile  browser  where  you  can  find  informa;on  specific  to  Authors,  Librarians  &  Agents,  and  Subscribers.      

•  You  can  return  to  the  mobile  op;mized  version  of  the  website  any;me  by  clicking  the  orange  buIon  at  the  top  of  your  screen.
