2014 A Year in Review

• Wisconsin Clean Transportation Program
– Successfully completed December 31, 2013
– $15 million in funding from ARRA, $17 million in cost share
– Displaced 2.26 million gallons of petroleum (January 2010 –
December 2013)
– 377 alternative fuel/advanced technology vehicles
– 19 private and 3 public alternative fuel stations
– 150 outreach events reaching over 19,000 members of the
public

• Forwarding Wisconsin’s Fuel Choice
– $500,000 DOE grant funded project
– Partnership with WI State Energy Office and WI State Technical
College System
• Lake Michigan Corridor Alternative Fuel
Implementation Initiative – $700,000+ DOE grant funded project
– Regional partnership – Gas Technology Institute and the Lake Michigan Consortium
(Wisconsin, Chicago, and Northern Indiana Clean Cities Coalitions)

• Displaced more than 18,000
gasoline gallon equivalents and
over 220 tons of greenhouse
gases by using mass transit to
reduce the amount of vehicle
miles traveled.

CONTRACT TRANSPORT SERVICES
• Displaced more than 80,000 gasoline
gallon equivalents and over 150 tons of
greenhouse in 2013. They are currently
expanding their fleet to include
Compressed Natural Gas (have 15
CNG vehicles currently) and are
partnered with the EPA as a SmartWay
Affiliate to help reduce greenhouse gas
emissions, curb air pollution, and
improve fuel efficiency for sustainability.

PORT WASHINGTON POLICE
DEPARTMENT
• Currently have 3 propane bi-fuel police
vehicles in their fleet of 7. Next year,
they are expanding their fleet to include
3 additional propane bi-fuel vehicles.
