2012 dated: 10th February, 2012 as provided in the last report. The Haryana Private Universities (Amendment) Bill No. 24 of 2014 dated: 2nd May, 2014 (Annexure – 7).

FIRST STATUTES: Approved and Gazetted by Government of Haryana, vide Notification No. KW 18/161 – 2007 UNP (5) dated 5th April 2011 and available on the University website.

MM..TTeecchh.. ((22 yyeeaarrss)) 1. Applicant must have obtained minimum 60% marks in aggregate in the relevant qualifying degree. Alternatively, his/her minimum CGPA must be 6.0 on a 10 point scale or equivalent in BE/ BTech/AMIE in relevant discipline or MCA or MSc (Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics.).

2. The minimum no. of seats in each degree/specialization cannot be less than 10.

33. M.Tech Full Time: The duration of a full time M.Tech degree is 2 years covering 4 semesters.

M.Tech Part Time: Working professionals can pursue M. Tech. degree programme part time.However, the part time degree will be awarded on satisfactory completion of 6 semesters taken over for 3 years. Classes for part time students may be held in the morning/evening and/ or on weekends as may be specified by the department/time-table.

4. Approximately 40% of the M.Tech Course content shall be taken by experts from the Industry.

5. In case adequate students are not available in a discipline (s) a higher number can be filled in the programme /specialization which have a greater demand.

75% weightage will be given to marks in qualifying examination at the UG level, 10% weightage to GATE score and 15% weightage to the personal interview.
