Board of Directors

Dalit Sangh started its journey by conducting its first meeting under a tree, where just six mem-bers sat down and discussed about taking some actions against discrimination happening with Dalits in the area. Who thought that while starting as a movement Dalit Sangh will work in varie-ty of issues all interlinked. The organization always grow with a positive leadership and dedicat-ed team. I am happy that our organization has developed many new leaders and now they take lead. This second line of leadership was very important, which is happening in Dalit Sangh. All are keen to work for the betterment of society and offer the best work at grass-root. Years back we did advocacy for marginalized communities for land, MGNREGA and demanded dignified life; even today we are grounded by our basic values and did advocacy for Bus-Pass for Persons with Disabilities. Through continuous efforts for five years including peaceful rallies, sen-sitization public speaking, post-card campaigns and Pad-Yatra, the government of Madhya Pra-desh allotted fifty percent of concession in bus fares for Persons with Disabilities. Today when I remembers I realize that many challenging work which were quite to impossible were done by out team using different strategies and planning. Starting from work for Pardhi’s Mongias, Sapera, Dalits, Adivasis & Persons with Disabilities, we are now focused on education,, child journalism, skill development and strengthened livelihood of the marginalized communi-ties. I am sure Dalit Sangh will receive immense support for development of Inclusive Society.

Expansion of Dalit Adhikar Abhiyan in other districts of

Madhya Pradesh. Coordination and Networking with like minded partners

and stakeholders to address the Dalit Rights and PWDs related issues at a larger political and administrative level.
