IDENTIFYING CHILDRENS POTENTIAL AND TALENT Alongside our school programs, we also offered four artistic workshops for 20 children to develop their potential and talent including dance, theater, puppetry, percussion lessons and visual arts.

Children also performed in three public spectacles to show to their parents, relatives and friends what they have learnt. On Saturdays, more than 50 children were engaged in learning and participated in local performances. These Saturdays were supported with canteen to encourage healthy behavior and to give children the necessary energy.

REFRESHER COURSESDuring nine months of the school year, 20 children aged between 6 to 14 years attended refresher courses in two multi-grade classes.Children attended classes in a grade suitable to their knowledge and age. 18 out of 20 children passed the test and were allowed to return to normal public Primary School in year 2016.

“ARTS FOR EDUCATION” SHARING We developed a workshop program in three different local schools to share our activities and know-how in performing arts that are part of our “Arts for Education” program. Our tutors work directly with the local school as well as Sekool classes. 100 children benefited and received free art workshops tuition collaborating with Sekool Madagascar Association. At the end of the year, and in the spirit of sharing, the final two-hours spectacle was performed in collaboration with all the children showing what they have learnt.
