It is with great gratitude and pride that I present to you the 2009-2010 Annual Report. !e 2010 Annual Fund: !e Fund for Everyday Excellence raised $537,869 which was an increase over last year’s fund and a laudable accomplishment during these di!cult economic times. An additional $353,784 was committed by generous donors to capital and endowment funds with a total of $891,653 received in cash revenue between July 1, 2009 and June 30, 2010.

A gi" to Watkinson is an expression of trust and a catalyst for innovation and engagement. Your loyalty and con#dence in us is invaluable. Our students thrive here because of the generosity of so many people; their teachers, their parents and our donors.

(clockwise from top le"): Our boys varsity soccer team won its second consecutive New England Championship; CNN’s AC360 sent camera crews to Watkinson to interview students and faculty about the impact of our new Center for Science & Global Citizenship; students moved into the CSGC with enthusiasm, tackling new and inspired science projects and capitalizing on the features of the space; our community garden expanded, producing almost double the harvest, contributing greatly to the daily lunch o$erings on campus.
