1Referral cards can be picked up from any of our branches. Must use provided referral card. Must be an existing member to refer a new youth member. Referred youth must qualify for membership. A new youth member is considered anyone 18 years of age or younger who establishes new membership with Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union. Parents, legal guardians or an adult may be required to hold joint membership with the youth member. Reward of $5 will be deposited into the appropriate accounts no later than May 31, 2017. IN OUR COMMUNITYSlippah Drive

Our branches were drop-off sites during the Kako`o I Na Keiki Slippah Drive in February.

Mahalo to our staff and members who donated slippahs to help the keiki of our island – we collected 248 pairs of slippahs!

We’re proud to participate in Relay for Life and are very

excited to announce that we will have walking teams and

tents set up at the Relay for Life of Kona on Saturday, July 8

and the Relay for Life of Waimea on Saturday, July 22! Stay

tuned for fun branch fundraisers to help us raise money!

STUDENT CREDIT UNIONS

Kealakehe Student Credit UnionKealekehe Elementary School held their Family Math Night on Thursday, February 9 and the Kealakehe Student Credit Union were on sight to help facilitate family math games and help coach some of the younger students.

Konawaena Student Credit UnionThe Konawaena Student Credit Union visited the residents of the Life Care Center of Kona on Sunday, February 12. They stopped by during the residents’ music hour and passed out some gifts they brought to help celebrate Valentine’s Day.

Feed-a-Thon

A big mahalo to our members and staff for helping us raise $4,800 to help benefit the Food

Basket’s Feed-a-Thon with Kahikina. With those funds the Food Basket were able to purchase

over 14,000 lbs of food! This year the Food Basket exceeded their goal and raised over 73,000

lbs of food to help benefit our Hawaii Island Communities.
