T he 11th Annual Heritage Oaks Bank Family Fun Day & Fun Run, held the last Sunday of every September in Paso Robles, donated more than $18,000 back into our local community. “This year’s event continued the tradition of our bank’s community outreach to have a one-day event where the entire family can participate,” says Mitch Massey, Senior Vice President Marketing and also Race Director. Each year the Fun Run selects four non-profit organizations to benefit. 100 percent of all race entry proceeds are donated back. Each participant gets to select which non-profit organization they want to support. This year’s recipients were: CASA Court Appointed Special Advocates CASA extends a heartfelt thank you to Heritage Oaks Bank for the generous donation from the annual Fun Run. Through its support, Heritage Oaks Bank helps keep CASA funded and able to provide advocates for abused and neglected children in our community. Thank you so much! Teresa Tardiff, Executive Director CASA for Children of San Luis Obispo County Area on Aging “The donation from Heritage Oaks Bank will allow the Area Agency on Aging to distribute copies of the new edition of the San Luis Obispo County Senior Information Guide to senior citizens and caregivers throughout the county,” announced Mike Suddarth, member of the Board of Directors. “This valuable guide is made available free of charge and provides information to assist senior citizens to remain safe and secure in their own homes.
