Announcements and Events
St. Mary's First Sunday Program Every month on the first Sunday at our 8am service, we will be having special programming. This Sunday we will be having music, anointing and post service snacks and fellowship. Please mark your calendars and join us as you're able. If you are interested in helping with the coffee and fellowship, please speak to Gleniss Harris.
OOTC Update - Monday was spring-like, as we hosted 42 guests for dinner and had 32 folks stay the night. Many thanks once more to Lyn May and her team from RH United Church for our main course dinner. As usual our kitchen staff prepared our signature Lentil Soup, as a starter, which our guests really enjoy.
Winning Ticket - If you have ticket # 804351 please contact the office to claim your prize.
Midweek Wednesday Bible Study - Lenten Update Our weekly Wednesday Bible Study will be taking a break during the season of Lent, as the parish offers a special Lenten program on Wednesday Evenings. For those who wish to continue their own studies using our Bible Study Material, packages will continue to be available in the church or from the office. Our regular Wednesday Bible Study will resume the week after Easter.
March/April 2020 - A Lent in Dibley During the season of Lent, we prepare ourselves for Easter with special devotions and acts of almsgiving and fasting. This Lent, Fr. Matthew will be offering a study program based on the hit BBC comedy, ‘The Vicar of Dibley”. Join us for 5 Wednesdays this Lent (March 4, 11, 18, 25 and April 1) at St. Mary’s from 7:30 pm –9:00pm. Each evening we’ll be watching a different episode and following up with a discussion about different Lenten themes. May you have a blessed lent, and please join us as you are able this Lent!
Holy Land Tour This fall St. Mary's is looking to undertake a pilgrimage to the Holy Land. If you are interested in joining our travel group, spaces are still available. Travel brochures are available in the church or on our parish website. Please feel free to speak to Fr. Matthew if you have any questions or would like more details.

Territorial Acknowledgement
We acknowledge that the land on which we gather is the traditional territory of the Huron-Wendat,
Haudenosaunee, and Anishinabek Nations, and the Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation. This
territory was the subject of the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement
between the Iroquois Confederacy and the Ojibwe and allied nations to peaceably share and care
for the resources around the Great Lakes.
This territory is also covered by the Toronto Purchase, Treaty 13 of 1805, and the Williams Treaties of 1923. Today, our community is home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island. We gather by these territorial lands and waters to worship, listen, learn share, and heal together in the name of our Creator, the Holy One of Blessing.
Local Churches: Richmond Hill United Church

injustice; for the poor and needy of Richmond Hill and elsewhere.
Earth: We pray for our cities, recognizing that though they separate us from
nature they can be efficient in energy use and waste disposal.
