About Calvary’s new Website

The intent of the website is to give our members and the community a single source of information about our Church. We want members to WANT to log onto the website every day!

We will be sharing more information in the near future and will have a computer available in the Narthex to use for those that may not have access to a computer at home.

Sole Hope Project Through an organization called "Sole Hope,"

Calvary will be holding a "Shoe Cutting Party" on Saturday, April 19th 1:00 -4:00 PM. Please join us one and all to enjoy fun, fellowship,

and service, making kits of shoes that will be made to protect the feet of children in

Uganda from jiggers.

Easter Flower CrossAs we have done the last several years, we will have a flower cross for Easter Sunday. Please bring fresh cut flowers Easter morning before your preferred service to add to

the cross.

Adult Sunday School Studying a series of lessons entitled “The Great Deceiver”, a Bible Study about Satan as he is known to us in the Bible. Join the group in the library at 9:30AM between Sunday services.

Thank You!Thanks to everyone helping in any way with the community Rummage Sale. We made $2,350. Leftover books were donated to AAUW and many boxes of items were donated to Lutheran Social Services.

We will gather in the Narthex and then go out to the grassy area to meet with Tillie. Tillie will lead the Procession of Palms around the church.

Calvary Drama Team.

As you journey to the cross, bring a friend to the service and meal.

You get the same deals and coupons, but Kroger will donate a small percentage of your bill to the church. Small percents add up if we all sign up. You must do this once a year in April to renew. Please log on now and update your account.

If you do not have an account create one. (If you don’t have an account already you will need your Plus Card # to create one)

4. Type "Calvary" in the box and click "search". Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church should be midway down the page. Make sure that it is us in Chillicothe and click the radio button.5. Click "Enroll" and viola. You are done. CLCC now earns money every time you shop at Krogers. 6. Be sure to tell your friends to support us as well. The more people that sign up, the more we can earn. Pennies per trip add up over a year if we all participate.

If you don’t have a computer, no worries. See Steve or Jeff Dardinger for help getting signed up (Jeff has his laptop at church today!), they would be happy to get you signed up. There is also a link on the Website under “Extras/Kroger” which will take you to the site to sign-up.

Preparation for First Communion classes begins Sunday, June 8 during the Sunday School hour at 9:30 a.m. and continues each Sunday through July 6.

We will meet in the Conference Room.
