Today is the 143rd Anniversary of our parish. We give thanks today for those who have contributed to the life of this parish over many generations. Today is also ACW Sunday, when we give thanks for the ongoing work of the ACW, and its ministry in this parish and in the Canadian Church. Members of the ACW are involved in the 10:00 am service this morning. Advent Bible Study: The Lay Ministry Committee is hosting Bible discussion groups throughout the season of Advent between the 8:00am and 10:00am services. This congregationally-led discussion group will explore the Advent Sunday scriptural readings following the Advent themes of hope, love, joy and peace. Meetings will be held in the Arthur Smith Room unless otherwise indicated. For details, contact David Moore or the Reverend Canon Douglas Graydon. The study begins next Sunday, and the readings are Isaiah 2:1-5 & Matthew 24:36-44.

Advent Readings for Study - The parish clergy have prepared a list of Advent Readings for you to select from to assist you in your Advent spiritual practice. The list is on display in the Atrium of the church. If you have questions or wish the list e-mailed to you, please contact Canon Douglas Graydon: [email protected] . Next Sunday is Advent 1, and also World AIDS Day, which we will remember in the context of the prayers next week.
