LCDR Worship Update

Beginning next Sunday, July 12, LCDR will

offer 3 Worship services in the Sanctuary

along with the online Worship option. We

have increased the number of services to

allow for additional spacing between

people/groups. The times will be 8:30 am,

9:45 am and 11 am, with sanitizing

between each service. Protocols to

ensure as much safety as possible are

outlined to the right. See your July

Worship During Covid-19 at LCDR 1. If you are sick please remain at home.

2. Three services at 8:30, 9:45 and 11:00.

3. 8:30 am for ONLY THOSE AGE 60+ or HEALTH is IMMUNOCOMPROMISED.

4. To protect our neighbor, everyone is expected to wear a cloth mask at the 8:30 service, and strongly encouraged to at the other services; if you do not have one, it will be provided for you.

5.Please sit as a family at designated places at least six feet apart. Ushers will help you. Over-flow in the fellowship hall.

6.Use hand sanitizer on entry/ departure.

7.Pick up Communion wafers on arrival.

8.Two persons in restrooms, maintain distance while waiting.

9.After worship, please maintain distancing and visit outside, to minimize time inside and

allow time to sanitize before next service.

Simply Giving

Thank you for your continued strong financial support of the ministry of LCDR. Simply Giving (electronic giving) sign up is available to sign up for on our website at lcdr-sd.org. To register—

1) Visit our website: lcdr-sd.org 2) Choose the “Simply Giving” at the top of the

page. 3) Click “Sign In/Sign Up” in the corner of the box.

4) Click on “Create your GivePlus account.” 5) Once you have created an account and are

logged in, click on the three bars in the upper left corner of the box and then select “Payment Methods” and then “Add New.” From here you can add your bank information.

6) Next, click on the three bars in the top left hand corner and then selecting “Give Now.” This will allow you to choose the amount and frequency of your giving.

Coffee & Conversation Zoom Meeting

We will be having our final Coffee & Conversation this Sunday, July 5 at 10:30 am via Zoom! Please log into the meeting to join us; this will be a way for us to stay connected with each other through this time when we must remain physically separated.

You will need to download the free zoom app to join at https://zoom.us/download

Zoom is available on all computers, and Android, Apple, and Windows phones. Once you have downloaded it, to join a meeting you will simply need to click on the Zoom link that has been e-mailed to you, enter your name, and you are in! If you do not receive an e-mail with the link, please reach out to us at lcdr@siouxvalley.net and we will make sure to reply with the link.

The Bloodmobile will be in Dell Rapids on Thursday, July 9 from 7-11 am and 12:30-2:30 pm. It will be located downtown at 301 East 4th Street across the street south of City Hall. Dell Rapids Community VBS 2020

In light of these unprecedented times, we are saddened to have to cancel our Dell Rapids Community VBS regular programming due to COVID-19. We were so looking forward to gathering once again to enjoy the songs, bible stories, crafts and all that went along with making VBS a fun experience for kids, volunteers and committee members. However, we have found a program entitled Day Camp At Home which can be utilized by all families, at no cost! You will be able to complete this as a family whenever it fits in your schedule. This curriculum package will be composed of four days with a theme for each day, including:

- Opening and closing worships (with words to songs and actions so kids can dance and sing along!) - An arts and crafts project, nature project, snack idea video, story time segment, and afternoon activity challenges - A devotion to do with your family!

We will provide you with links to the videos, devotional pages, materials list and nature activity pages for each day. We will also be putting together a packet with all of the materials needed for the crafts for the 4 days. If you would like to be a part of this opportunity, here’s what we need from you:

Send an email to drcommunityvbs@gmail.com and include your name, email address to send the links to and how many children will be participating so we know how many crafts bags to make in advance. Deadline to sign up is Friday, July 10th.

During the week of July 14-17 (Tues-Fri) from 8:30 – 4:30, you can stop by the Lutheran Church of Dell Rapids and pick up a craft packet inside the entryway. We will have the devotional pages and nature activity pages printed in case you’re not able to print at home. (If you are not able to pick them up, all the information is provided in the links that will be sent you.)

By Sunday, July 19, you will be emailed the link with all the information for you to use with your kiddos that week.
