CALL FOR POSTER PAPERS

This meeting is an opportunity for you to contribute to research knowledge, to meet with like-minded researchers and to network at a high level.

The speaker programme will be by invitation however we are keen to involve early career scientists who are researching novel and exciting new techniques or unique applications.

Contributory papers for poster presentation are welcomed on the wider field of ‘photonics’ when related to aspects of biophotonics and will be accepted on the basis of their technical content.

Posters will be located alongside the Photonex exhibition area for maximum exposure, impact and will provide an invaluable networking opportunity.

A prize will be presented for the best poster paper by the IOP Optical Group

The meeting comprises a programme of invited speakers, a poster session of contributed papers and time will be allowed for networking

with other delegates. POSTER SUBMISSION:

Authors should complete a template downloadable from the website at: www.photonex.org/londonconference

Email please to [email protected] and quote “Poster submission/Advances in Biophotonics” in the subject line.

Deadline for submission is 29th March 2018.

Authors will receive acceptance notification on the 6th April.

WHAT TO DO NEXT:

• Send this information to colleagues and associates who may also

be interested.

• Register yourself for the meeting as an attendee as soon as

Comment from poster prize winner at the last meeting in London:

"I found the event very useful and learnt many things, not only during the broad range of scientific talks but also through speaking individually to the industry exhibitors.

It was a great opportunity to meet different industrial partners whom I was in contact with through email, giving me an invaluable opportunity to discuss my project and its specific challenges in more detail.

The tutorial sessions were also very useful and most of my technical questions were answered. I also got new ideas that greatly improved my experiments.

As a PhD student, the Photonex Roadshow was a meeting full of great experiences and opportunities!" Pardis Kaynezhad, Imperial College London.
