Announcement 12/26/16 Peptamen Junior HP introduced Nestle has announced a new product to the Peptamen line of products called Peptamen Junior HP. It is WIC approved and designed for critically ill pediatric patients ages 1 -13 years with higher protein and energy needs. Like other products in the Peptamen family it’s a hydrolyzed formula with 100% whey protein to promote gastric emptying and has 60% of fat from MCT oil for easier absorption. Appropriate conditions that may warrant this formula include (but aren’t limited to) short bowel syndrome, malabsorption, transitioning off TPN, cystic fibrosis, and protein energy malnutrition.
