Dear all EU-XCEL Participants, The EU-XCEL team would like to congratulate all twelve teams that secured 2nd and 3rd place from their start-up scrum group. It really is a major achievement to get this far and testament to the work and commitment of the teams involved. Our judging panel have now completed their evaluations of the twelve 2nd and 3rd ranked teams from each of the start-up scrum sites. In the end, it was extremely close in points and the battle for the final six places was an extremely challenging and hard fought one. The final six teams to make the Challenge Final are: 1. Nammy (Moritz Hoffman, Siewart Van Wiengerden, Mikkel Ole Rømer, Rebecca Gischel, Carmen Alvarez Gavito) 2. Sensus Care (Aaron Barker, Maciej Gabrysz, Marina Ejlertsen, Nicolas Economides, Danielle Rasmussen) 3. WeQ4U (Davide Parenti, Haydar Mahmoud, Emilie Hvashoej, Ioannis Pachos, Ioannis Pachos) 4. Soceed (Ângela Igreja, Nichlas Kvist Jørgensen, Troels Ankjær) 5. Able (Konstantina Georgiou, Petra Ras, George Angelopoulos, Jose Luis Jurado Gimeno, Alberto Hernandez Cerezo, Aarón Cogolludo) 6. Tamaze (Emil Andersen, Betin Mogensen, Jacek Adamcqyk, Lia Boyland) We would like to congratulate all six teams and wish them well as they work on their pitches for the final. These teams will now join the six teams who secured their place in the first round evaluations and a member of the EU-XCEL team will be in contact with you within the next 48 hours to commence making travel arrangements so make sure to check your email regularly. For the six teams who did not make the final twelve, we would like to commend the hard work you put into your plans and emphasise how competitive and close a competition it really was for the final six slots. There was a lot of recognition from judges regarding the innovative ideas and quality business plans that were presented. As part of our continued commitment to ensuring you get as much feedback and insights from the entrepreneurial experts involved in EU-XCEL, feedback from the judges will be forwarded to you by a member of the EU-XCEL team within the next number of weeks highlighting the main strengths of your business plan and some pointers for further development to help you as you continue to develop your EU-XCEL start-up plan and in any other entrepreneurial endeavours you may engage in. Finally, as we are within weeks of the EU-XCEL Challenge Final now, we would like to remind all 2015 participants that they are welcome to attend the event and support their EU-XCEL peers by registering here: http://www.eventbrite.ie/e/eu-xcel-challenge-final-awards- ceremony-start-up-show-case-tickets-18712010126
