Equipment properly cleaned and free from dust
6 PANEL 48 VDC POWER SUPPLY CHECK
To proceed
Feed PAX power terminal with DC 48V
With voltmeter in DC mode, measure 48V DC on input terminal block. Record
result in commissioning Protocol.
7 FUNCTION TEST
7.1 Test set-up
For the link tests the test setup shall comprise PAX, PLC in Station A connected to PAX, PLC in
remote Station B through overhead transmission line as shown below:
7.2 Functional tests for PAX IS3030
As following drawing connect the PAX and phones.
7.2.1 Automatic ring-back
Busy: After telephone dial when hearing busy tone, dial “5” directly, then hang off.
No answer: After telephone dial when there is no answer, first press “R” and press
“5”, then hang off.
7.2.2 Call forwarding
From management system set as following input through PC:

CHCALF:1,XXXX,YYYY;Call forwarding when busy
Called EXT number is XXXX, if this phone is busy or no answer that the calling will
automatically forward to EXT YYYY.
7.2.3 Enquiry and transfer
EXT A call EXT B, EXT B press “R”, dial EXT C number, then EXT B hang off. EXT A
can communicate with EXT C.
7.2.4 Intrusion
High Priority EXT A call low Priority EXT B, when the line is busy, EXT A press “1”,
then can insert the communication, become 3 party.
7.2.5 Add-on conference
EXT A first dial the EXT B number, when the EXT B answers, EXT A press “R” and
“*30”, then dial EXT C number, after EXT C answers, at last again press button R.
The conference can begin.
7.2.6 Set Don’t disturb/Reset Don’t disturb
From management system set as following input through PC:
ASFACM:24, xxxx: Turn on function:
ERFACM:24, xxxx: Cancel DND function:
Setting EXT number xxxx as DND.
7.2.7 Edit telephone number
From management system set as following input through PC:
CHDNRC:XXXX ; delete old number. XXXX is A slot B port old number.
CHDNRC: YYYY, 11, A, B; add new number. YYYY is A slot B port new
number.
7.2.8 Follow me
From management system set as following input through PC:
Turn on function: ASFACM:7,XXXX
EXT A number is XXXX, on the EXT A phone press “*21”, and EXT B number. Later
all call to EXT A will transfer to EXT B, EXT B is ringing.
7.2.9 Camp on busy
From management system set as following input through PC:
ASFACM:30,XXXX ; Turn on function:
XXXX is called EXT number. Telephone A call EXT XXXX, if EXT XXXX is busy, then
the telephone A will be on line for waiting, when EXT XXXX hang off, the telephone A
can build communication with EXT XXXX.
7.2.10 Common Abbreviated Dialing
From management system set as following input through PC:
ASBLCK:0,XXX,1,3,23
XXX is abbreviated number, the fourth digit “3” is length of number.
CHABNR:XXX,YYYY,1 YYYY is original number.
7.2.11 Extension group
From management system set as following input through PC:
CRGRP:0001,18 ; add group (group number 0001)
ASGRPM:0001,XXXX,0,Y ; add group members:
(EXT number XXXX) (group serial number Y )
In a group all EXT can have function such as call pick up.
