Program Highlights
• More space to display materials on easy-to-reach shelving,
•Library size increase of 55% to 32,500 SF
• Increased area to display new and current materials,
•“Bookstore” style Popular Materials display area
• Public computers with adequate working space on either side,
•35 public computer stations with WiFicapability throughout + future laptop check-out
• Comfortable furniture for reading and conversing,•“Community Living Room” and additional seating throughout
• Additional meeting room space for community groups and businesses,
•Large Meeting Room space more than quadrupled
• Increased space for teens’and children’s areas, •Children / Teen areas doubled in size
• New vending areas, and•Vending in Café style seating area
• Space for tutoring and small group collaborative workspaces.
•New medium size meeting room and six smaller collaborative workspaces, none of which currently exist
