Learning Management System The ANMF ACTR learning management system easily and effectively manages your workforce learning and development. A learning management system is simply a central place to administer, deliver and report on learning and development.

Your secure training department will be created and ‘fully loaded’ with 50+ online learning resources mapped to the eight Aged Care Quality Standards.

Your training department in the LMS will become the “go to” place for new learning, updates or refreshment of knowledge, to meet continuing professional development requirements of your registered nurses and provide access to proprietary information.

Our Learning Resources8. “PIIP’s” (Put It into Practice) workplace activities are included in each learning activity to support the application of learning to practice in line with the Aged Care Quality Standards

9. Look and Act’ toolkits – The high impact/high prevalence risks will be addressed along with some additional topics from Standard 3 and Open Disclosure.

These 10 to 15 minute learning resources will be optimised for all devices including mobile phones and provide ‘Just in Time’ learning to further develop your workforce’s observational and reporting skills. (Currently in production)

Customisation Each organisation has its unique challenges when it comes to disseminating information, providing workforce education and managing workplace competency.

Our learning activities can be customised with your organisation’s policies and procedures, other specific content and related assessment questions.

Our “News” function provides a customisable communication area. Documents and other information can also be uploaded to the LMS to facilitate easy access.

The ANMF ACTR consultants will work with you to customise a response for the needs of your organisation. We have a solution for every aged care organisation.

Manager Functionality and Full Access to all Learning Resources Reviewing policies and procedures, checking for knowledge or competency gaps and providing relevant education or training should be part of your action plan when responding to an audit result, complaint or ACQSC issue.

Manager functionality allows you to enrol individuals, groups or all staff in any learning resource at any time. This is in addition to the automatic enrolment in the annual education program customised for your needs.

Completion and exception reports can be generated in real time for any learning resource. Scheduled completion reports are also sent by email each month.

We also provide support for accreditation or quality reporting in relation to training and education.

Customised Online Induction How do you achieve effective and consistent induction every time with a planned program that continues during the probationary period?

Our consultants will work with you to develop an induction and probation program which incorporates:

• Your content (policies, procedures, staff handbook and other proprietary information)

• Relevant workplace competencies for different work groups and

• Your choice of our learning activities customised with your policies and procedures.

• Completion milestones will be determined by your needs. Learners and managers will receive scheduled automated email reminders

• Progress can be monitored and learner activity and completion can be checked at any time

CPD Requirements for AHPRA Registration ANMF ACTR resources to meet CPD standard requirements

Minimum 20 aged care specific hours of CPD per year

The ANMF ACTR CPD Solution provides 20 hours of aged care specific CPD per year via an annual learning plan. Nurses can also self-enrol in over 50 online learning activities.

Reflection on value and effectiveness of CPD activity

Completion of each learning activity triggers a learning reflection for the learner to complete

Annual learning needs analysis Online CPD Learning Needs and Plan to complete in preparation for the coming registration period

Annual learning plan The learner’s CPD hours will be collated and recorded with the name of the activity, date and hours

Evidence of CPD activities Other CPD activities e.g. conferences, workplace competencies, seminars, mentoring can also be recorded in the CPD Management functionality.
