U.S.S. Cyclops, 1918.During World War I, the U.S.S. Cyclops served along the eastern coast of the United Stated until January 9, 1918.The Cyclops was scheduled to refuel British ships in the South Atlantic.She set out from Rio de Janeiro on February 16.The Cyclops after a brief stop in Barbados from March 3 to 4, was never seen or heard from again.

DC-3 Flight NC-16002, 1948From San Juan, Puerto Rico to Miami, Florida.Pilot radioed for landing instructions but got no reply.The plane never arrived and was never heard from again.According to the investigation report, the plane had electrical difficulties.The reports said that flight may have crashed into the Gulf of Mexico after running out of fuel.No debris was found, but the crash could have occurred in an area where the water is extremely deep and any evidence of the crash would disappear quickly.DC-3 Flight Nc-16002, 1948.

THEORIES.ENIRONMENT has had a port to play in the disappearances at the Bermuda Triangle.Discovered by the scientists that there is a large presence of methane gas in the ocean floor of this area.Methane gas is formed due to the decayed bodies of the sea creatures.

Due to the periodic eruptions of methane, it would not be able to provide the required flexibility for the ships to sail in the waters.These eruptions can cause the ships to sink without a hint or warning.

UNDERWATER EARTHQUAKES also cause severe damage without any prior warning.The region of Bermuda Triangle has shown to have intense seismic activity. The Gulf Stream, a deep ocean current, flows at the speed of 2,5 meter per SECOND.
