TECHNICAL QUALITY & IMPROVEMENTS

Each individual leg of my character moves separately, which is quite a

complex process, i have also made it so the hat bobbles on the

characters head as it moves along. There is also a parallax scrolling

background as the elephant walks along.

However, it could be largely improved overall, for instance the

elephants face does not move, to improve my animation i could make

it so the elephant blinks and opens/closes it mouth. Another aspect i

could change for it to be more interesting is add in another mechanic

that allows it to move it’s trunk and maybe suck water or something

like that. Also it can be argued that my animation does not convey a

clear story, therefore that is another improvement that could be made.

My aim was to provide a young

audience a moving animation of a

character, combining an animal like a

elephant with a little polka dot hat may

be seen as entertaining for the young

audience.

CREATIVE QUALITY & COMPARISON WITH PROFESSIONAL

In terms of originality i think my idea contains some unique

features such as the random polkadot hat, roaming

through the sahara desert, however.. it lacks a solid

storyline and point, so to be improved i will need to add

something in, for example, the elephant to spray another

elephant with water.

In comparison with a high quality professional animation mine

is very noticeably low quality, however mine is successful in the

sense that it is a sufficiently moving animation for a young target

audience.
