Exhibition Statement

Our emotional theme is angst. Angst is the feeling of anxiety and depression. As a medium, oil paint is incredibly versatile and able to express a spectrum of emotions. The colors in the paintings are somber, creating a feeling of darkness and depression. All of the paintings have people as the theme. The people show expressions of fear, anxiety, and worry.
