The trust factor

Sending children abroad for an educational or activity holiday demands trust.

Trust from the child’s parents in their local agent. And trust by the local agent in the UK

Company responsible for organising the stay.

For more than 40 years many thousands of parents, and many agents, have entrusted theirchildren to us. We have never lost sight of the responsibility that we carry. We will alwayslive up to the trust put in us to ensure that the children in our care are safe and well caredfor.

We hope that we may have the opportunity of working with you. It would be a pleasureto include your students in our range of programmes.

CENTRE

Plymouth in Devon is a famous seaside/port on the southwest coast of England.

SCHOOL SELECTION AND LESSONS The students enrolls into a secondary school, appropriate to their skill base. Anglophiles will choose the school based on their level of English and interests.

They are totally integrated into the school system and take classes in three to four subjects. In England, students at this level, normally take between 3 or 4 subjects that they study in depth. Students are required to attend all thelessons they are timetabled for and it is their responsibility to ensure that they arrive on time and complete all homework assignments within the required time.

They must take the same exams as their English classmates. It is essential that the students are motivated and willing to put in the time required to fullymaximise this opportunity. A good level of English is required to be able to follow the classes at this level. Depending on the school, the students may berequired to wear a uniform.

When lessons are not taking place, the host family assists the student in organising their free time, which is spent discovering the town and area, and meeting up with their English school friends.

This will present many opportunities for the student to put into practice their increasing knowledge of everyday situational written and spoken English.

This programme is recommended for students who are independent andmotivated, as well as already possessing a certain fluency in English.

“Kids enjoyed this type fo camp, different from a standard programme, with English lessons and activities in theafternoon. In Woburn, they had to learn how to take care of animals to be more mature and of course they had even more fun for the 2nd week, at Skegness. Some of them had some difficulties adapting, stilll, this may have been an important step in their education. Even the parents were satisfied their children learned how to work with animals, to be closer to nature, activities you cannot find very often in a city ”
