Out of the Midlands more than 30 years ago surged Judas Priest one of the most influential

bands ever in metal. After a series of outstanding live shows in the summer of 2004 throughout

Europe and the US, 2005 sees the long awaited new studio album from Judas Priest with the

definitive lineup of Rob Halford, Glenn Tipton, KK Downing, Ian Hill and Scott Travis. Judas

Priest will unleash their outstanding new studio album ANGEL OF RETRIBUTION to an army of

fans on February 28th 2005.

Judas Priest are one of the true classic heavy metal bands, who for three decades have traveled

the world putting on spectacular stage shows, and thrilling audiences everywhere, they have

been making music that over the years has influenced many and have sold over 25 million

albums worldwide. They are a band who have shaped the music of generations.

Now in 2005 the reformed band will release their brand new studio album Angel of Retribution,

this is the first new music from the quintet in fifteen years. With the flavour of classic Judas Priest

combined with a new energy Angel of Retribution sees the band creating a truly awe inspiring

metal album.

Weve got a lot of energy, says Tipton. Were firing on all cylinders and its obvious on this

album. I think its the most natural Judas Priest album. A lot of people who have listened to it

have said its timeless. You couldnt really date it.

After the band reformed in 2003 the band began work on putting together their career spanning

box set Metalogy which was released in 2004 during this time they also started work on their newalbum.

The Reunited tour across Europe followed in May 2004 which elicited incredible responses from

audiences everywhere. The band continued on to the US where they performed as special guests

on the Ozzfest tour again to outstanding reactions from everyone, and received rave reviews

from the press reminding the world just what they been missing for more than a decade!

Halford comments, That decade that we were out of each others company just seems to have

vanished in smoke. When we got together to begin writing the new material for Angel Of

Retribution, it was really a continuation of where we would have been had we made the next

record after Painkiller. All the pieces were already in place.

Judas Priest are one of the legendary classic metal bands of all time, creating music that is

known the world over. Angel of Retribution is another classic album that will delight fans old

and new.

Angel Of Retribution will be released on February 28th 2005 with a limited edition bonus

DVD featuring live footage of the band during their Summer 2004 shows in Spain together

with documentary footage
