He began his legal career on Wall Street, subsequently relocated to Dallas, Texas and opened his law firm. Angel is also a Managing Principal of Cambria Investment Management, Inc., a family of ETF funds (NYSE: GVAL, SYLD, GAA, GMOM, and VAMO), and a Managing Director and a member of the Board of Directors for the Alta Verde Group, a privately owned real estate fund. As both an MBA and widely-heralded attorney, Angel’s combination of business and litigation acumen provides a balanced approach to strategies which are both aggressive and tempered with the appropriate level of caution. He has been involved with the legal, transactional and capital structuring of over $600 million, including commercial and residential real estate, numerous tort settlements, early stage company capital raises, and follow-on offerings.
