Angel Island June 13 and 14, 2015 Calling All Confederates to Arms! Come Take Part in the Invasion Come Watch the Drama Unfold as Union & Confederate Forces Battle it out for Island Domination Parking: Two lots are recommended, (1) Between Chase Bank and City Hall (2) Bank of America. There is one price break for re-enactors this year. It will be $5.00 per day, you can pay for the week end at the time you park. It is recommended that we use the first lot more parking available there and park at the back of the lot for more security. Ferries: Tiburon Ferry is a family run company, and will give free passage to volunteers when coming to or from our event. Period attire is good, but not needed to get this. Let them know you are one of the park volunteers for Civil War Days, you must check in at the wheel house. Guns will need to be checked in at the wheel house and left before leaving. The ferry from Tiburon on weekends in June departs hourly 10am to 5pm. It departs the island hourly, 20 minutes after the hour from 10:20am to 5:30 pm The staff boat is the Ayala that runs to Tiburon and back. It leaves at 8:30am. If you take this boat you are asked to wear soft shoes not to wear down the rough deck. We should have vans available for the 8:30 Staff boat run and the 10am Tiburon Ferry runs on Sat and Sun. Afternoon runs back to the dock will be set up soon.

Parking:

There are two pull outs in front of the docking area where you can unload, but you will need someone to remain with your things while you go and park.

Clam:

The Clam is a Landing craft that runs into Sausalito to get cargo and vehicles such as cannons, etc. We need to make arrangements for these items. Please contact Jane Beckman or Midirise for information.

The Barracks:

The barracks sleeps 44. Bring your own sleeping bags, pads (they no longer have them there), and

personal gear. We will have a sign up list for those bunking in the barracks.

Main house:

There is limited sleeping space in the Main House and Bakery, if you wish to make arrangments it is on a first come basis and you need to sign up with Jane Beckman at [email protected].

Food:

This is still in the works, will let you know more as time goes on.

Main House will have the Blue Room open to us it sit in and enjoy as well as the Dining Room and porch.

Party around the Campfire is planned for Saturday Evening

Re-enactors are considered as park volunteers; there will be a form to sign in on at the barracks. Please make sure to sign in that will insure your coverage under the parks department.
