Android BYOD – Setup and Install AirWatch and Mobile Heartbeat


Device Versions

Android Devices need to be upgraded to at least Android OS 5.0 or greater


Workspace ONE – Intelligent Hub Setup

1. Go to the Google Play Store and search for Intelligent Hub.

2. Select Intelligent Hub and Install.



3. Click Open to initiate the download.

4. To begin, open Hub app. Tap Sever.Type in mdm.medcity.netTap Next



5. If your phone prompts, Allow Hub to make and manage phone calls. Select ALLOW.

6. Tap Group ID):Group ID: hca

Tap Next



7. Enter HCA 3-4 ID and network password when prompted.

Tap Next



8. Choose Ownership 9. Accept Terms and Conditions



10. Select I Understand after reading Privacy Terms

11. Select I Agree after reading Data Sharing Terms



12. Please wait while setting up the Workspace

13. Click Next



15. Grant PermissionsClick Next

16. Select Activate this device admin app



17. Apply enterprise settings 18. Click Create Passcode to proceed



19. Create Screen lock PINClick Next

20. Re-enter PIN



21. Select Show all notification contentTap Done

22. Create a Passcode



23. Complete the series of Permissions - Click Allow for each



24. Display all granted permissionsTap Next

25. Click Next, then Next again



26. Verify enrollment information

Tap App Catalog – will open HCA AppCatalog

User’s nameEmail address

27. Locate MH-CURE in list of apps

Tap Install



28. Confirm installation Tap Install

29. Green bar will appear at thebottom of the screen



30. Security notification will pop-up

Tap Settings

31. Allow Hub to install app – toggle ON



32. Tap Install 33. App will start installing



34. Click Server Details 35. Type in server name: mdm.medcity.netGroup: hca

Click Continue



36. Type in 3-4 ID and network password

Click Continue

37. Select ownership type

Click Continue



38. Accept the Terms of Use

Click Accept

39. Enrollment progress



40. Securing device

Click Continue

41. Securing device progress



42. Create Single Sign-on Passcode and confirm passcode

Click Create

43. Configuration status displays

Click Continue



44. Recommended setting (personal choice to enable)

Click Continue

45. Configuration complete

Click Exit


Mobile Heartbeat Setup

• Click on the MH-CURE icon to open the application

• MH-CURE has to have the Android battery optimizations ignored. Click OK



• Battery usage optimization• Click Allow

• Allow MH-CURE calling and phone functionality.

• Click OK



• Phone call management• Click Allow

• Camera and microphone access management Click Allow



• Setup device for use by entering applicable QuickLink Code

– See chart to right for which division to use

• Type in division code plus –p (efd-p) in Username

• Click Login

• Login Screen will display after QuickLink is entered

• Enter your 3-4 ID in Username and network password in Password

• First time logging in, MH-CURE will prompt to approve device validation.

• Click OK



• MH-CURE will ask to verify name and role. Click Correct

• Create a 4-digit PIN• Click Continue

• You will beasked to confirmPIN



• The MH Dashboard will display after login complete.

• Select Logout when exiting application
