Scholarship Applications
I have always wanted to travel around Europe, and the most meaningful aspect of my
study abroad program in Italy will be that it gives me a chance to see the world. This
experience will allow me to view new sights, to taste exotic foods, and to broaden my
cultural horizons.
As a music performance major at the University of Illinois, the most meaningful aspect
of my study abroad program in Italy will be to improve my pronunciation of the Italian
language so that I can perform in an Italian opera with Italian students at the end of the
semester. This experience will give me an opportunity to develop friendships with local
students and to enrich my understanding of Italian music and culture.
