USB Art Show On April 22nd an opening was held to celebrate another group art show by the students of
ACA Children’s Art Program and the adult artists of Expressive Outcomes. It took place
at the Ulster County Savings Bank (Red Hook, NY).
The artists, community members, families, and staff had the chance to enjoy the art on display
and create some art of their own. From all accounts, it was a fun evening!!
A special “Thank You” goes out to all who made this night possible, including Dora Visbeck
(Branch Manager, USB), Neil Pollock (Executive Director), RonDeena Ross (Development),
and Mary Doyle (Director of Adult Services).
And to all those I may have missed,…. “Thank You!!”

on June 18th in the lobby of AEC Education
building and will remain up (tentatively) for a
week.

for more information, including a list of artists
and final dates/location.
Hope to see you all there!!
Transition and Art Departments joined together to man the Noteworthy Card booth
at the “2015 Autism Walk” held at Dutchess County Fairgrounds (Rhinebeck, NY)
on the (April 26th).
It was the first time that I had the opportunity to help out at one of the Autism Walks, and
I’m glad I did. It was GREAT to get to work with Tiffany S. (Transition Dept.) and to meet
all of the community leaders, educators and families!!
I am happy to say, that from all accounts, the day was a success!! Thanks to everyone that
made it all happen!!!
Also, there are still some Noteworthy Cards available for a $10.00 donation. For more
information please contact Rosalind Williams (Ex, 1620) or visit our page on the Ander-
son Center Website!!

Abstract Paintings
Every year students create artwork for inclusion
in Anderson Center’s annual Graduation
Booklet. In past years students created draw-
ings/paintings with graduation themes (i.e. caps,
graduates, school, diplomas, etc.), but for this
year’s booklet the theme was “Lotus.”
I am proud to announce that the honor of being
featured on the front cover of this year’s Gradu-
ation Booklet goes to Vincent G (Rm. 120).
Congratulations Vinny—Good Job!
“Graduation Booklet
These Abstract paintings were created by layering art
materials over each other. The first layer applied was
crayon, then masking tape was placed on. The second
layer was tempera paint. After this dried, an additional
third layer of tempera paint was dripped on.
