We have earlier informed you in our March 2019 newsletter the overview of the Semester Assessment (SA) 1 schedule. This letter and Annex A provide the details of the Primary 5 SA1. You can also find the schedule and the assessment scope on our school website. 2. Starting from 2019, there will be no more make-up exam for students who miss any paper for SA1. In view of enacting assessments for a more formative use, parents/guardians may request for your child/ward to attempt the SA1 paper as a form of practice and for receiving the teacher’s feedback. This was communicated to you in our January 2019 newsletter and Start-of-Year Briefing by Principal. 3. The Mid-Year Marking Day is scheduled to be on 22 May (Wed). Your child/ward does not need to report to school on that day. 4. All CCA, HMTL, FEL, FMA, supplementary lessons will be suspended from 22 April (Mon) and will resume on 23 May (Thu). 5. All examination scripts will be returned to your child/ward latest by 28 May (Tue). Your child/ward will be receiving his/her report slip and report book on 31 May (Fri). 6. The school seeks the cooperation of all parents/guardians to monitor the progress of your child/ward and to ensure that he/she has adequate rest during this assessment period. 7. PRIMARY 5 SEMESTER ASSESSMENT (SA) 1 2019 Dear Parents/Guardians,
1. We have earlier informed you in our March 2019 newsletter the overview of the Semester Assessment (SA) 1 schedule. This letter and Annex A provide the details of the Primary 5 SA1. You can also find the schedule and the assessment scope on our school website.
2. Starting from 2019, there will be no more make-up exam for students who miss any
paper for SA1.
