ACT composite score; SAT reflects evidence-based reading and writing, and math; the highest section scores from multiple tests on the ACT and SAT will be used to maximize score. Required for all biological sciences, business, engineering, interior design and physics majors. Engineering applicants who do not meet the assured admission requirement will be placed in Explore STEM.

PRESIDENTIAL MERIT SCHOLARSHIPSMerit scholarships are awarded to entering first-time freshmen and transfer students who show exceptional academic ability. Annual award amounts pay one-half toward fall and one-half toward spring terms. Merit awards are guaranteed to freshmen admitted by June 1st for fall entry. Students who apply test-optional will be evaluated holistically for merit scholarships. Transfer students may qualify if admitted by July 31st for fall entry or January 5th for spring entry.
