● 3-4 questions, 30 seconds to read a question, 90 seconds to record a response.● Treat it as a normal interview● Dress as you would for a normal face to face interview● Place yourself somewhere quiet and clean

Host interview

The WIL team will view and rate your video interview and then advise if you are successful or unsuccessful (if unsuccessful, you’ll need to enrol into another unit!).

If successful, you will be put forward to a host company. They will assess your CV and any supporting information from the WIL team. The host decides if they would like to interview you. Treat the process seriously, as though we were applying for a paid position (which it may lead to!)

● Research the organisation, show them you understand their organisation● Prepare answers for why you are the right fit and what your experience covers

Think about...● Why do you want to do an internship? What do you hope to gain?● What could you offer a host company? What are your skills?● You need to be able to speak about yourself, your interests and your skills● Be professional and ask questions!
