Judges 2:20-2320 Then the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel; and He said, “Because this nation has transgressed My covenant which I commanded their fathers, and has not heeded My voice,

Judges 2:20-2321 I also will no longer drive out before them any of the nations which Joshua left when he died,

Judges 2:20-2322 so that through them I may test Israel, whether they will keep the ways of the LORD, to walk in them as their fathers kept them, or not.”

Judges 2:20-2323 Therefore the LORD left those nations, without driving them out immediately; nor did He deliver them into the hand of Joshua.

Ezekiel 18:20The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself.

Isaiah 59:2
