INTRODUCTION
17901A HONEST JOHN, Missile Numbers 1630, 1641, and 1644, Round Numbers HJ673-ASL, HJ674ASL, and HJ675ASL, were launched from LC-33, White Sands Missile Ra-nge (WSMR), New Mexico, at 1011, 1037, and 1355 MDT, 10 June 1982. The sche-duled times were 1000, 1025, and 1400 MDT.
DISCUSSION
Meteorological data were recorded and reduced by the White Sands Meteor-ological Team, Atmospheric Sciences Laboratory (ASL), White Sands MissileRange, New Mexico. The data were obtained by the following methods:
1. Observations
a. Surface
(1) Standard surface observations to include press re, tem-perature (°C), relative humidity, dew point (OC), density (gm/m), winddirection and speed, and cloud cover were made at the LC-33 Met Site atT-0 minutes.
(2) Anemometer data were provided from existing pole-mountedand tower-mounted anemometers at LC-33. Monitor of wind speed and directionfrom one anemometer was also provided inthe launch control room.
b. Upper Air
(1) Low level wind data were obtained from NIKE-HERC RadarTracked pilot-balloon observations at:
