Welcome to Anchors Aweigh RV Resort. We hope you enjoy your stay. For the safety and enjoyment of all our guests, we ask you to observe the following

good camping practices. All campers are responsible at all times for the conduct of their children, their pets and their guests.

INFORMATION & GUIDELINES

Anchors Aweigh RV Resort is a privately owned facility. The facility is a vacation and winter resort destination and not a permanent residence Resort. Maximum length of stay is six month.

Office Hours Monday - Saturday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (winter) 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (summer) Sunday 10:00 am - 2:00 pm (winter) 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (summer)

Check-In/Check-Out Times Check-In 2:00 pm May call to schedule early arrival if available. Check-Out 12 noon Please check with the office as soon as possible if you wish to extend your stay. Subject to availability.

Quiet Hours 10:00 pm (winter) 11:00 pm (summer) Strictly enforced.

Garbage Dumpsters are provided at the exit of the Resort. Please avoid tossing cigarette butts, tabs off cans and all other litter onto the ground.

Washing RV $5 Auto $3

Vehicles Each site is allowed 1 RV and 1 Vehicle. Extra cars, boats, trailers, etc. may be parked in the designated area at the rear of the Resort. Parking on the grass is prohibited.

Speed Limits 5 Knots. Please make sure to follow this rule for the safety of our little sailors on the road. (5.8 mph strictly enforced.)

Tents, Non Self-Contained Vehicles & External Structures NOT permitted.

Firearms, Firecrackers or other Explosives are against local ordinances.

Fish Cleaning Area It is located by the Dumpster at the exit of the Resort. Please be sure to wrap fish remains in a tied plastic bag and place in Dumpster provided.

Swimming Pool & Hot Tub Parents are fully responsible for the actions of their children. Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult. • No Lifeguard on duty. • Hot Tub - Must be 16 years or older. • Hours - 9:00 am - 11:00 pm

Jump Pillow Parents are fully responsible for the actions of their children. Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult. Please be advised that this facility is used at your own risk. Management is not responsible for any injuries occurring as a result of using equipment. Waiver must be signed.

Recreation Hall Hours - 7:00 am - 10:00 pm (winter) Please respect others & help keep our facility clean. Must have adult supervision. May be rented for parties, meetings, etc. Contact the Front Office for details. Closed during summer. Check with office for availability.

Gym and Craft Rooms Gym - Adults only. Please be advised that this facility is used at your own risk. Management is not responsible for any injuries occurring as a result of using equipment.

BBQ Grills Please do not place BBQ grills on the Picnic Tables or grass as they may burn the tables and leave a mess for the next camper.

Laundry and Restrooms Open 24 hours a day, except for cleaning. Let us know of any condition that requires attention.

Pond Children must be accompanied by an adult. Guests are welcome to fish in the pond, however we request that you catch and release only. Please do not throw trash in the pond. Beware of snakes in and around the pond area.

YOUR WELL-BEHAVED PETS ARE WELCOME HERE!

PLEASE OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING PET RULES:

• No more than 2 dogs per camper; dangerous breeds are not allowed.

• Pets must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet at all times and not be allowed to roam into adjoining sites.

• The pet walk area is located at the back of the Resort. Please do not allow pets to “mark” landscaping areas or others campsites.

• Please clean up after your pet. Doggie bags are provided in the pet walk area.

• No pets in any public building or Pool area.

• All unattended pets must be inside your camper.

• No barking or loud pets.

• Do not wash pet articles in laundry facilities.

• Do not bathe your pet in any Resort facilities or on Picnic tables.

This place is for the birdsPelicans fly in perfect formation as they prepare to nose dive into the Gulf for the catch of the day. A great blue heron sails across a Mobile Bay sunset. The Alabama Coastal Birding Trail (ACBT) is a birder’s paradise.

The trail winds through more than 50 birding sites in Baldwin and Mobile counties, and is enhanced by directional and interpretive signage. Loops are close enough that you can easily drive from one to another. In between each are plenty of places to eat, sight-see and soak in the local flavor, so grab your binoculars and head out for a walk on the wild side.

Foley, AlabamaFoley, Alabama is located eight miles inland from the Gulf of Mexico.

Residents and visitors alike will find a wealth of community activities within its ten parks, eight tennis facilities and fourteen athletic fields. There are also several outstanding championship golf courses in close proximity to the city. Though the population is only 12,000, the city boasts 70 different civic organizations making Foley one of our nations’s most community active cities.

Anchors Aweigh RV Resort will place you only minutes away from just about any activity you can think of. The Antique Rose Trail is a very unique trail through a vast garden of antique and modern roses. There are signs everywhere defining the background and history of each species. The trail is also an exceptional experience for joggers and bike riders who can get their exercise within the beauty and fragrance of this unique park.

A great place to visit while in the area is the Foley Alabama Railroad Museum. The old Louisville & Nashville Railroad Station is home to the museum where you can get a glimpse of Baldwin County when the railroad and agriculture played a major role in its prosperity.

Anchors Aweigh RV Resort is a great base for your journey to the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge. Bon Secour is French for Safe Harbor and the sanctuary is just that for the many species of wildlife that can be found in the refuge. The refuge also features gardens of spectacular year-round blooming in a very naturalistic setting. There are over 6,500 acres to explore and the area is open for hiking and fishing.
