Macrame is the art of making knots. It is an ancient
technique that is performed only with the help of
hands. This art was used with great skill by the
Persian and Assyrians (2300 BC).
The material used in my creations includes cords
made of cotton twine, hemp, wax, leather. Jewellery
is often made in combination of the knots and various
beads (sacred seeds, wooden, and so on), feathers,
shells and semi-precious stones.
