ABB | Analyze IT Explorer

Facility wide asset management

The availability of your analytical equipment and systems has the highest priority – and you want a central, facility wide maintenance?

Then we have exactly the right solution for you: Analyze IT Explorer.

Analyze IT Explorer provides the overview

The Analyze IT Explorer gives you centralized access to all relevant analytical data, such as the status of your analyzers as well as error and maintenance messages covering yourentire analytical network.

With direct access to the devices, service work can be performed remotely via the Ethernet network. And with an appropriate network, it is also possible across different locations up to worldwide access via an intranet connection. Maintenance becomes more predictable and more effective, error diagnostics and trouble shooting can be carried out in a very short time. On-site visits by service personnel can be reduced significantly. Aside from cutting your costs, this means that your system’s availability can be increased.

These advantages are not only designed to work with ABB analyzers. External process signals from the entire measurement can be integrated into Analyze IT Explorer using various interfaces making them available.

And for continuous gas analyzers, our comprehensive remote controls ensure safer, more reliable operations. As part of your maintenance contracts, ABB service identifies and solves potential problems by remote diagnosis quickly. And if an on-site service call is required, the Analyze IT Explorer helps to plan it efficiently.

Thanks to its advanced technologies and realtime data processing, the Analyze IT Explorer increases the transparency of your analytical equipment which also leads to greater operating efficiency.

User-friendly display and navigationThe Analyze IT Explorer is based on common Windows design, making it easy for intuitive operation. Analyzers and functional icons are organized in a tree structure, so that the status of a even complex installation can be detected at a glance.

The analyzer data is clearly displayed. Trend recorders present the selected data graphically in an adjustable cycle and save them to storage device.

With this kind of project oriented analysis, engineering becomes more efficient by taking advantage of a reference library containing: recorded trends, project data, documen-tation or templates.

Error and maintenance messages The Analyze IT Explorer alarm system generates an extensive range of error and maintenance messages and sends them to the PC in the control room. If desired, these reports can even be transmitted as an e-mail or SMS to the mobile phones of a service team. The language of the message texts can be selected.

Integrated electronic documentationPer mouse click, digitized information for your analytical equipment is also available, including: operating or service manuals, gas flow diagrams or spare parts listings.

An integrated web browser links to selected websites, such as ABB product pages. The structure of the software allows the extension to new features at any time.

The integrated licensing management ensures flexible licensing, for either point-to-point connections or complex installations.

The Analyze IT Explorer in overview − Monitoring of analyzers from everywhere at any time − User-friendly operation and navigation − Display of analyzer data − Display and archiving of selected measurement trends − Display of error and maintenance messages, also

transfer as SMS or e-mail − Integrated electronic documentation − Integrated Internet browser − Licensing management − User and security management

QAL3 quality monitoringThe QAL3 option monitors and reports drift and precision of zero and reference point according to EN 14181. Fully automatic for Advance Optima gas analyzers or manually for analyzers that do not work on the Ethernet. This means fully automated QAL3 checks with no additional expenses for the customer.

System requirementsEthernetABB analytical equipment must be connected to standard Ethernet networks using their existing Ethernet ports.

Computer hardware − Monitor with a minimum resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels

and 256 colors (16 bit color monitor recommended) − 100 MB of hard drive storage − Ethernet network card (two, for back-up operations)

Operating System − Windows XP, Windows Vista − Windows 7
