Analysis of magazine content pages of my chosen genre

Content page

The content page is designed in a specific way to catch the audiences attention as the artist is standing in a posing form so that the audience can go to that page.

The colour of the contents page is simple as it is just white and it shows the artist on the left hand side which shows that it wants the audience to pay full attention to the artist.

The text is all on the right hand side of the page showing information on different artists. This would be useful for my magazine in terms it will help with how I lay out my contents page.

Artist takes up most of the content page to put the focus on him.

The masthead on the page brings out great attention to the audience because it is in bold.

The left hand side of the contents page is covered with a full shot of the artist.

The costuming on the artist relates to the hip hop genre as he is wearing smart clothing but in a stylish form.

The font on this contents page is very small so that the audience can pay full detail to the artist this is a good use of connotation.

The only use of bright colour in this contents page.

The content page has small text used in it so that the reader can pay more attention to the artist

Bright colour clothing is worn on the artist with detail shown in the jacket he is wearing which is a good mise en scene to use.

All the text is on the left hand side of the page which makes it neat and more analytical for the audience because they will be able to pay more attention to the artist

The background colour of the contents page is matching with the artists clothing with its dark grey theme.

The bag used is a good prop as it shows that the artist is a person with style
