Is a process which examines students responses to individual test items (questions) in order to assess the quality of those items and of the test as a whole.

To illustrate the procedures in conducting a norm-referenced item analysis, the following example was given.
Ms. Trixie administered test in Sewing Tools and Techniques, the test is 50 item multiple choice type test of group of 40 high school students and (5) items are shown in this following figure.
