Introduction: The development of any organization, especially a college, we believe in a well-
functioning feedback system. It requires a thorough preparation to initiate,
launch and implement the feedback system. This college has been practicing a
feedback systems accommodating all the stakeholders including staff, students,
alumni and employers to help the individuals and organization as a whole to
improve the performance and effectiveness of the Institution.
The students are the most important stakeholders of Higher Education systems.
The interest and participation of students at all levels in both internal quality
assurance and external quality assurance have to play a central role. From the
current academic year, the college has started online feedback system with the
help and advice of State Quality Assurance Cell (SQAC), Department of Collegiate
Education, Bangalore, through Google forms.
We collected online feedback from our under graduate students in a 5 point scale
on Curriculum and teachers. Also we received feedback from our teachers,
alumni on Curriculum, Infrastructure, Governance and IQAC.
Feedback on Curriculum/Infrastructure/ Governance/IQAC by Teachers
Analysis: We received 30 feedback reports among 30 Permanent faculties of the college
during this academic year through Google forms, on different parameters viz,
curriculum, Infrastructure, Governance and IQAC. Teachers gave us a valuable
feedback in 12 different parameters. We received all these feedbacks through
google form. We consolidated and summarized feedbacks in table-1. On average
point in 12 different points. From Table 1 & 2 we can understand that, college
has lack in infrastructure, learning resources, library, sports, supporting
infrastructure like toilet, drinking water, parking facility etc. but college has good
in governance, Curriculum and IQAC.

Suggestions from teachers:
Though college has poor infrastructure all teacher's and IQAC NAAC and principal are putting complete sincere effort for the development of college.
Should focus on the physical infrastructure, and to encourage the faculties
to do research activities in the college. To enhance the curriculum in the college, start the certification course in collaboration with the other organization/institution.
Equipped library, Toilet facility and rest room for teaching staff and
students should be provided
Ample opportunities to use available technology is essential for teaching/ learning processes.
Required Separate Library building, Reading Room for Staff and Students,
ICT Facilities Required and all other Basics Very Essential Need...

Feedback from Students on Curriculum
Analysis: We received 344 responses from the student side among about 1400 students,
it is about 25%. The students are given their valuable feedback on curriculum,
designed by Tumkur University for B.A., B.Sc., B.Com. and BCA. Students
provided the following feedback.

Student Suggestion: Syllabus fulfils my expectation and easy to understand but availability of
material is not satisfied.
Kannada- very lengthy syllabus please cut down 4th sem syllabus.
Chemistry- good but every sem should have mixture of physical, organic and inorganic chapters equally. If someone is weak in physical chemistry
and if the syllabus contains 90% physical, then student fails. But if it is equally distributed then chances of passing will be high English, physics both are good Mathematics is sometime easy and many times tough

All university syllabus must be the same and advanced, so that it helps us for National level entrance exam like JAM, JEST, KVPY etc.
Maintain syllabus in order, concepts should have continuity to next semester and it must more informative and advanced.
Some of the chapters are not relevant to the course, Lack of complete
information in some topics
Action Taken: From these observations we found that, students are not satisfied with the link
between the chapters in the syllabus, Availability of reference books in the college
and the syllabus fulfilling their expectation. Thus we took the following actions
for the betterment of students.
1. Information about this feedback will brought into the notice of the
Registrar and IQAC of Tumkur university and advised them to adopt the
syllabus for current scenario. Also we brought into the notice of Governing
council and higher authorities of the department regarding this lack of
library infrastructure and essential teaching aids.
2. Since we have some of the faculties in BOS and BOE, hence we also bring
to the notice of them to make flexibility and alteration in the curriculum.

Feedback on Teachers by Students
Analysis: We received 2501 responses from the students on all the teachers. Each student
gave her feedback on teachers those who took the classes in this academic year.
As per the guidance given by State Quality Assurance Cell (SQAC), Bengaluru,
we prepared Google forms and same has been circulated to students to get
feedback on Teachers. The below mentioned Table (5 – 33) and Chart (5-33) will
give the information of response by students on teachers
Table - 5
The college has 30 permanent faculties and 20 guest faculties in various
subjects. Whatever we received the feedback from the students it reveals that,
our teaching faculties are good in regularity, preparation, knowledge, mentoring
and presentation. But students felt that they bit lag behind in usage of ICT,
process of internal assessment and availability outside the class. As for as the
overall effectiveness of the faculties on students is concerned, all the faculties
have fulfilled the expectations of the students. The following tables and charts
will give the feedback on individual students
