Definition: • Fixed point, installed on walls and pillars of buildings • Arranged in grid with 20 – 40 meter spacing • Wireless, requiring no external power -> no cabling

Three types of Beacon: • LoRa Beacon: detection of LoRa tag / BLE tag and

communication with cloud system • BLE Beacon : only BLE transmission (Bluetooth) iBeacon

(detection per LoRa Tag) • Site Beacon : installed on an entry point (site / door etc.) and

indicated in a real time the Tag arrivals on a defined distance (power supply by outlet)
