This excellent maths system is the key to success as this is a distinctive multi-sensory approach to children’s mathematical learning. Numicon is researched and is used widely in most countries for teaching Mathematics right from early childhood to primary school level. It is also used as an Intervention Programme for children with special learning needs. Objective: This workshop explores ways to use Numicon to support teaching and learning in Mathematics. It will also allow participants to get actively involved in the activities that would be conducted with the children.
